Jafo- You're kidding, right? 5 people, from Hamilton, say they will stop cheering for the Leaf's if the city doesn't get a team or Toronto somehow vetoes? I mean, you're kidding, right? Do you know how long the wait list is for season tix in T.O.? It's some astronomical number. Like most Leaf fans who love the game in general (and there are so many more of us than these 5) would be delighted to see a team in Hamilton. But Balsillie is going to have to pay, big-time, because that's just the way it is. Like it or not, the Leaf franchise has some say in this- if the positions were historically reversed, these 5 fans would be saying "screw Toronto".
That's only a handful off 1 site. There are a lot of sites where hockey fans are saying the same thing. The Leafs sound like a bunch of 3 year olds. "This is mine and you can't have it".
As far as your comment..

Why would "anyone" want tickets to the team that hasn't won a cup in "how many years". To use your own words "You're kidding right?"
We'll just have to wait and see what Judge Baum says. If it turns out Toronto does end up squawking and trying to stop any team moving to Hamilton, then it's possible that the Canadian Competition Bureau will follow through with their plans against the Leaf organization.

So fans in Vancouver, Ottawa, Phoenix/Hamilton, Washington, St. Louis, Chicago (49 years!), Los Angeles should not want tickets either?
Sorry, that's not a good argument. KidK is right. There is nothing wrong with staging your own personal family protest, but don't think for a second the Leafs will suffer as a result.
For the record I hope Hamilton gets a team, but it won't hurt Toronto, not in the slightest.
I'm sure the Leafs won't suffer too much either but, when enough people boycott their games, just the message alone "may" tell the organization something.
It's not just the hockey fans in Hamilton or Burlington, there are also fans in Niagara, Guelph, London etc. who want a team in Hamilton.
For the record... I gave up on the N.H.L. years ago. I remember watching it when there were players like Mikita, the Espositos, right up to Orr, Vaive and Palmateer. Now, after watching a hockey game for about an hour, if I want to see their kind of game, I'll turn the t.v. to UFC.
I use "Jafo" as a nickname (Which stands for "J"ust "A"nother "F"u##ing "O"bserver) because I liked the movie it came from (Blue Thunder) and I use the pseudonym Jock McBile instead of my real name in honour of the names creator, the late John Morgan of the Royal Canadian Air Farce. As Jock would say..."Aw, git stuffed".
All comments subjected to modification or rejection as seen fit by me. Don't like it, tough.

Looks the same to me except on ice.
