Gary is fast becoming a laughing stock and can't even answer a legitimate question with a straight answer. Most likely this event will never actually happen because the OPP got all the residents with private property bordering DCE to sign to have anyone who steps on their property charged with trespassing. Meanwhile, Gary will be safely at home in Binbrook while his supporter take the heat and arrests. Anyone with half a brain will stay home.
Since his rally is slated to take place the weekend after the long May weekend, it has been my experience that most people at that time are too busy with "weekend camping runs". They are usually busy cleaning up around campsites, or getting their cottages in shape for the new season.
As the rally is on a Sunday, most are either getting ready to head home after camping, are on their way home or have just got home and are too tired to even worry about the rantings of a few mentally displaced morons.
Then again as you mentioned above, the biggest one (take that either way you wish) will be at home safely away from the wrath of those who must be subjected to this farce.
Between you and whoever "Popeye" is, I enjoy the bits of banter between you two and McHale on his board. Thanks for the laugh.
Sundays in Caledonia, and traffic on Highway 6, will be heavy as we are heading into the tourist season. Gary reminds me of the man behind the curtain in Wizard of Oz, pulling the levers amid the fire and brimstone. Unlike the real wizard, Gary is the polar opposite, Dorothy would never get home, even to Caledonia.
I use "Jafo" as a nickname (Which stands for "J"ust "A"nother "F"u##ing "O"bserver) because I liked the movie it came from (Blue Thunder) and I use the pseudonym Jock McBile instead of my real name in honour of the names creator, the late John Morgan of the Royal Canadian Air Farce. As Jock would say..."Aw, git stuffed".
All comments subjected to modification or rejection as seen fit by me. Don't like it, tough.
