The difference is he was only a 16 year old kid when nabbed. The U.S. has been using different forms of torture (was even explained that on the news and such)since he was caught. There is also an understanding between Canada and the U.S. regarding prisoner exchanges which Harper has either forgotten about or is just to ignorant to do anything about it.
With any luck, these videos and public outcry will force Harper to actually do the right thing.Jafohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03963387979128158814noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6466789767674902398.post-62870387458063401262008-07-16T06:39:00.000-05:002008-07-16T06:39:00.000-05:00All Khadr amounts to is a prisoner of war who will...All Khadr amounts to is a prisoner of war who will be released when the war is over, just like what happened to prisoners in other canadian wars.

I watched the video and could care less, he was the enemy, got caught as a prisoner.

I'm sure once the war is over Khadr will want to come back to Canada to be with his family wo got him in this mess in the first place.Mark-Alan Whittlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13997151080087992975noreply@blogger.com
